generalnews.media is an independent news aggregator. It reads 36 RSS sources across World, Business, Technology, Science, Health, Sports, Entertainment, and Security every 2 hours, groups coverage of the same event from different outlets into a single story, and uses AI to write a short neutral summary and score each story's importance from 1 to 5.

Every story links back to its original source (or sources — when several outlets cover the same event, all of them are listed). This site doesn't reproduce full articles: it summarizes and links out, the same way you'd expect a curated digest to work.

There's no editorial desk choosing what's "important" by hand — the importance score and the story grouping are both computed by AI directly from the headlines and sources involved. That's a deliberate tradeoff: no human editorial bias, but also no human judgment catching an AI mistake. If something looks wrong, the contact below is the way to flag it.
