New method for high-efficiency perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells

Researchers developed a fully thermal evaporation process for perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells using a formamidinium-based eutectic mixture. This approach enables more uniform, scalable manufacturing of high-efficiency tandem devices, which could lower the cost and boost the deployment of next-generation solar power.
