Greece bids to add Mount Olympus to Unesco World Heritage list

Greece has launched an official bid to include Mount Olympus, the mythical home of the ancient Greek gods, on Unesco's World Heritage list. The government says there is "no time to waste" in protecting the mountain's unique natural environment and cultural significance. If successful, the designation could boost conservation efforts and tourism for one of the country's most iconic landmarks.
