Orbiting disco ball provides most precise test of Einstein's theory
Scientists used a satellite equipped with a retroreflector, nicknamed a disco ball, to conduct the most precise test of general relativity to date. The experiment measured the satellite's orbit and confirmed Einstein's predictions to within a few parts in a million. This result strengthens our understanding of gravity and could influence future physics theories.
