Quantum statistics applied to plasmonic metacrystals

Researchers have theoretically or experimentally integrated quantum statistical effects into plasmonic metacrystals, materials that manipulate light at the nanoscale. This advance could enable novel control over light-matter interactions and quantum information processing. The work, published in Nature, marks a step toward hybrid quantum metamaterials.
