TLS 1.2 Enters Feature Freeze Under RFC 9851

The IETF's new RFC 9851 formally places TLS 1.2 in feature freeze, halting all new feature development. Security and critical bug fixes will continue, but the protocol is now effectively frozen. This is a significant step in the long-term transition away from TLS 1.2 toward TLS 1.3.
