Over 550,000 Kobalt yard tools recalled due to battery fire hazard
More than 550,000 Kobalt-branded yard tools, including trimmers and blowers, are being recalled because their lithium-ion batteries can overheat and catch fire. The recall covers models sold at Lowe's and online from 2021 to 2024. Consumers are urged to stop using the tools immediately and contact the company for a free replacement battery.
