Kazakhstan releases first tiger to revive extinct Caspian species
Kazakhstan has released a tiger into the wild as part of a program to restore the Caspian tiger, which vanished from the region decades ago. The animal, a genetically close Amur tiger, was brought from Russia for the reintroduction effort. This milestone aims to bring back a top predator to restore balance in Kazakhstan's ecosystem.
